Bully for You
Where once stood The Billy Goat (corner of Vandeventer and Boyle), Bully Restaurant and Pub is now open for business (at least for lunch, says the chalkboard out front.) We do wonder if they ever, just for a second, considered the signage savings of calling the new place "The Bully Goat"?
have eaten here twice this week monday had the Fried bologna sandwich ( iknow what your thinking )but this is not what your mom made you worth a try VERY VERY good .the chips are great had the BBQ .. and tried the wings very good ..on friday I went back tried the Cajun catfish that reminded me of the French quarter festival in new orleans the remoulade on the sandwich is homemade and very good .. had the Clam chowder friday soup of the day wonderfulll
on monday the kids had the grilled cheese and bully burger with the monday soup of the day chicken noodle not much left .. in the bowl for me to try .. and we finished off with the Homemade donuts served in a sack shaken with cinnamon and sugar with a side of icing to dip ... my daugter ate half of this order so buy two .all in all very impressed with quality and service the kitchen is open with mirrors so you can see what is going on and see how its prepared the owners Sam and Christopher are past Instructors at Lecole culinare school so I believe they know what they are doing good job guys
