Two years of green

A favorite city haunt of Miss Cherry & friends is Home Eco, St. Louis' first (and to our knowledge, still only) green general store, located at 4611 Macklind in the charming Southampton 'hood. As of tomorrow, the venture is two years old—if you haven't stopped by lately to chat with co-owners Terry Winkelmann and Phil Judd, you'll have a great opportunity to do so later this month. On Feb. 20, they're throwing themselves an anniversary party and White Sale, giving away a rain barrel and free gifts with purchases.
