A Moveable Feast?

According to Ann Haubrich, the lovely Sunday brunch housed at MoKaBe's, lo these many years, is decamping to the former Triple Xpresso's for a Sunday brunch she'll call the "Shagri-La Diner." The skinny: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., cash only, $11 for all-you-can-eat. If the past six years are any indication, chef Patrice will keep it heavily vegetarian-friendly.

Ouch, 10am is a bummer. I liked MoKaBe's opening hours of 9am because that allowed me to start showing houses to clients around 10:30am or 11:00. Still, the food is great so I will give Shagri-La Diner a try.

that's funny...I'm usually on the "they stopped serving at 2?!?" end of the spectrum.

She had some opening day issues to work out but the place looks great. I think she'll be more popular than the number of seats that can be squeezed into the small space. The salmon cakes were really good!
